Why I Joined The Union - Janet

Being part of a group who shows up and fights for democracy

In recent years, I’ve become increasingly concerned about the erosion of our democracy, and I realized that inaction and apathy simply support the efforts to undermine it.

I joined The Union to be part of a group of citizens who would show up and fight for democracy. Guidance from The Union about which pro-democracy campaigns and which partner organizations to work with has been smart, timely and effective. The Union is my go-to organization when I want to know where to focus my pro-democracy volunteer efforts.
