Geoff considers himself a centrist.
This post is part of a Q&A series with voters who have volunteered
to share their perspectives leading up to the November 2024 election.
Political Perspective
As the GOP has tilted right, Geoff believes that he may appear a bit left of center. He likes to examine positives and negatives in both parties' ideas and is more conservative on economics, racial issues, and foreign policy while more progressive on environmental and cultural issues.
Background
Geoff is a married chemical engineer in his 50s with two teenagers. His current hobby is forging common-sense solutions in redistricting. This includes not only public engagement in Ohio where he lives, but also writing academic papers that propose innovative practical solutions to redistricting challenges.
