I watched the debate last night, as well as some of the analysis afterward, and have many thoughts.
The format seemed to work well, but I'm concerned by many things I watched and heard. For example, I liked the format where microphones were cut off after a certain period of time, but I was very concerned by how well Trump lied and the fact that he was rarely called on his lies in real-time. I was glad that most news outlets outlined the lies afterward. I was amazed that Trump stayed as calm as he did for so long. I don't recall him exhibiting that much control in the past.
Biden didn't appear to be well and that concerned me on multiple levels. I've also been concerned to hear that his wife and sister are the only people who might be able to convince him that it would be best for the country if he let another person run as the Democratic candidate in November.
I'm *guessing* that we're heading into an interesting political "season".

Thank you for weighing in, Kathy!
