Democracy Needs Your Help, But How Do You Start?

The Union is a nationwide group of Democracy Defenders. We are made up of  Republicans, Democrats, and Independents who have little to no political nor campaign experience. We all agree that MAGA is a risk to democracy, and they must be stopped at the ballot box. We are teamed with over 50 like-minded organizations nationwide, plus organizations in particular states.

Democracy needs your help, but how do you start?

Be an Information Warrior

Stay informed and share the information. We actively post regularly on Threads, X/Twitter, and Substack. So, we need everybody to read, follow, repost, like, and share our posts and similar sources.  This activity helps spread the information and allows the social media sites to send more readers to this information.

Watch The Union Action Center

The Union Action Center is a website that lists volunteer opportunities across the country. These opportunities have been identified by The Union as pro-Democracy opportunities, and the site is updated every day. You can searched opportunities by location, types of activities, and so on.

Join The Union

If you want to be more involved, we have a Slack site set up for The Union volunteers. Slack is an online app that allows for messaging across multiple channels. We have a Main channel where we exchange information on volunteer opportunities, training opportunities, and general information. We also have many more channels to discuss specific topics such as: planning by state, veterans issues, Get Out The Vote (GOTV) planning, partner activities, and for general discussions. We add new channels as they’re needed too. To join the discussions, just fill out this form by providing your name, email address and phone number.
