250 years ago, against the English dictator, King George III, an enormous amount of American blood created the first modern democracy on Earth where the #1 objective was that citizens should be allowed to elect their own leaders.
For 5,000 years, dictators, using militaries, have prevented election freedom and many more individual rights. Their goals were always to keep themselves, and their privileged friends and family, fabulously wealthy and forever in power.
More recently, Donald Trump has quietly, and sometimes loudly, proclaimed that he wanted to be a military dictator too. The 900 page Project 2025 project documentation provides instructions for him should he be re-elected. In accordance with history, Trump might just try to end freedoms that enable us to elect our leaders.
Anti-dictator, pro-democracy, pro-freedom forces currently reside within America’s Democratic Party. This has not always been the case, but for now, these so-called “liberals,” the same label attached to our country’s 1776 founders, represent the hope that America can and will continue as the economic and moral beacon for the world.
